That setlist is absolutely incredible from start to finish!

If Toronto is half as good as that, which I am assuming it will be...WOW!

Membership? Interesting.

Looks like they are pulling out some unplucked gems they haven't played in a while.

Great show and great view from front row center. Same smalltown crowd as Vernon two years ago with the same smalltown assholes and same smalltown security. Do the "security officers" in the Lower Mainland get trained differently than the rest of them in BC? Is there a smalltown secret code that says all smalltown concerts lose their assigned seating status as soon as The Hip take the stage and turn to near-general admission?

Anyways, great to see a completely different setlist order tonight for some of the standard songs for this tour. It gives a new feel to the setlist (hearing certain songs in completely different slots). Membership, Longtime, & Scared were definite highlights.

Hey TLB, glad to hear you made it home safe, snow and fog when I went over the connector.

Great set list, nice to hear scared and springtime!

I was not impressed with some of the venue staff and I am with TLB on lack of security during the show, come on guys get it together.

Cheers...

nice setlist, hopefully the canadian tour produces a few more shows like this one. i count 8 songs different from the night before. i wonder if that will be the norm, 15 or so staples and then mixing up the rest.

one more thing about the show..i definately think there's a DVD on the horizon...the stage set up, the cameras's, the screens with some pretty cool "works of art" thru some of the songs...plus, all these tunes they're pulling out of the word work...boots, long time...i'm thinkin a cross country tour DVD is coming soon!!

anybody else think that the silhouettes were sweet before they walked on stage??

Id love to hear what Long Time Running sounded like...was it fairly similar to the ablum version (slow and powerful, or did they somehow kick it up a notch)? Just by comparison, Boots was quite different than the album in that it wasnt acoustic (well, maybe Gord, cant remember). Point is that Boots was much more rockin than on the album. What was LTR like?
