Question...does it get really hot in there? Any club shows I have ever been to I could ring my shirt out once outside.

Just trying to get an idea. Thanks a lot.

So far, these reviews sound fantastic!!

It was pretty hot both nights so far. My shirt was soaked through both nights. But it was too cold to stand in line without a jacket. There is a coat check - $2.

Chris: QUESTION: If I wear brown socks with blue jeans, do I have to colour coordinate my top too or is it like not wearing white after labour day?

You should have your own question and answer sticky on this board CK!

Slow day at work, so whenever an email notice pops-up I've been around to respond.

This is it for today.

Nice Answer.
There were are couple of people just over from us that got kicked out for smoking.

You're killing yourself and you don't get to the see/hear the best band in the world...hmmmm...doesn't seem worth it to me!

My favourite are people who get so sloshed for/at a concert that they don't even remember the concert. One of my best friends can only remember up until Maroon 5 at the Stones/Hip in Moncton last year.

Entirely pointless.

Finally coming up for air after a couple of Hip shows...

Some other thoughts on last night...
- yes, we all know that Gord sweats, but the man was a BEAST last night! After 5 songs, it looked like pissed himself (based on the sweat pattern, my sister commented that he must wear boxers), a couple of songs later his pants were soaked from the thigh down, and by the end of the show, the whole of the pants were soaked through from waist to toe.
- Meridian... one of my favourites at every show, but last night was smokin'!!! Great solo from Bobby...
- Family band... opened the show last night, closed the main set on night 1... it's versatile!
- Already been said, but Pigeon & Titantic were both absolutely perfect. Fantastic renditions of both.
- Gord's voice sounded a little off at the beginning of the night, but got better as it warmed up...

Memorable part coming out of NOIS after the band jam...
Gord : "I had my hand in the river".... (realizes he just screwed up) ... "No I didn't. Pale as a lightbulb .... "
Good cover Gord... :)

I forgot about that...It did look like he pissed himself and we were laughing about it, knowing he sweats like he throws everything into every song. And he does.

Also, the Trailer Park lads were there again as someone mentioned and I swear, Julian walked by me, dressed in black with a drink in his left hand - it was hilarious!

Still looking for a ticket for tomorrow night...anyone...

Cheers, Edward.

yeah but I never get drunk at concerts and I never smoke too much that I don't focus on the music. I'm just as much if nto more about the music than anyone else, the dope just ads to the effect and how much you enjoy the music.

  I forgot about Gord screwing up and correcting himself during NOIS...I had a good chuckle at that at the time!

I am wondering if maybe Gord did pee himself...

Yes, on its face the price is $2, but there is some additional cost -- there must be -- associated with standing in line for ever after the concert waiting to get your coat back.
