22. Blow At High Dough
Thanks to elliot g for help with the setlist!
Lake Fever was played during the soundcheck - I know because they were ripping through it when I picked up my tickets. Unfortunately human necessities (eating, drinking, and peeing) prevented me from loitering longer in the lobby.
As has already been noted, Travis Good came up and played fiddle during Four Strong Winds. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. That was right up in my top Hip experiences, up there with hearing Montreal a few years back. You know, those spine-tingling moments where some inner voice says (and rightly so) - "Do everything you can to soak this up, because you'll never hear this again".
That was my 41st show, and the closest I ever came to getting a setlist. Some quite attractive young lady was standing right next to me, and when a security guy grabbed the setlist, he looked up to see her and I vying for his attention.
Needless to say, she got the setlist. I got a copy of the chord progression for Dire Wolf, which is pretty cool.
For those who haven't seen the Sadies and have tickets for an upcoming show... don't be one of those losers who stands outside the beer stand until two minutes before the Hip come out. Make an effort to catch the Sadies' set - you won't be disappointed. They kick ass! That's the fifth time I've seen them, and every time I'm amazed at their talent.

Dire and Escape, nice.
Somebody posted that they did Nautical, and since you didn't mention that and they're from the same album, that'd be my guess.gambler wrote:NOTE: For the third song, I can't read my own writing. It looks like I wrote Grace, but I also have that for the 15th song. I *may* have been slightly tipsy. I have no idea what the hell is going on... anyone else write down the setlist?
