Mp2 ?

Post by Paul »

Hi,
I was just at a FTP site when I noticed a show recorded in mp2.
After downloading I was able to play it in my Winamp but was unable
to burn it on cd.
Any help as how to turn it into a mp3 or wave file would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I'm guessing you're refering to the Fiddler's Green show in Denver. An mp2 file can be converted to wave using winamp. Do you know how to convert files in winamp? If not, you have to go to the screen where you change the plugins. Fool around a bit in there and if you have a problem, 'sI think I've put the instructions on how to do it in some posting about shns

Thank you for you reply regarding my question "thehip11." Whenever you have the chance if you could post the instructions it would be greatly
appreciated. I'm not that well versed with computers and I find doing something for the first time, it's much better if I'm following specific instructions.
Thanks again, and please post at your convinence.

Best,
Paul

Here's the instuctions. First open winamp.

1) Go to Visualization
2) Select Plug-In
3) Under Plug-In's select OutPut
4) Click on NullSoft Disk Writer Plug-in c2.0c
5) Click Configuer
6) A box will appear and then select the output directory for the wave files
7) After selecting this, close the box and double click the first file and it will run through all files converting them to wave.
