Summer exists in a doorway
Summer exists at the fair
Summer is forever changes
Summer's taking me unawares

The Tragically Hip
Cobourg Community Centre
Cobourg, ON
2013/06/20

Setlist:**
At Transformation, Grace Too, Escape Is At Hand For The Travellin' Man, Man Machine Poem, Gift Shop, Ahead By A Century, Streets Ahead, Flamenco, Poets, Daredevil, We Want To Be It, Fully Completely, Wheat Kings, NOIS > Nautical > NOIS, Fire In The Hole, Goodnight Attawapiskat, Blow At High Dough

Encore:
My Music At Work, At The Hundredth Meridian, Bobcaygeon, Courage, Little Bones

Notes: Tonight's setlist was a virtual clone of the 2013/01/23 Edmonton, AB show with Flamenco substituted for Eldorado and Daredevil taking the place of In View & The Kids Don't Get It. Daredevil was played for the first time since 2012/12/05 Spokane, WA which was also the last show where Ahead By A Century wasn't played.

(9:45pm EST) - I'll keep updating this but as an FYI @thehipdotcom Twitter is going song by song which is awesome.... hopefully they continue to provide this throughout the whole tour. So far a replica for 2013/01/23 Edmonton, AB with Flamenco substituted for Eldorado... oh, and Calgary's flooding...

(10:10pm EST) - Whoa! Daredevil appearance. Curveball..... and we're back to 2013/01/23 through NOIS.

(10:40pm EST) - Encore begins with MMAW... Parts of Calgary continue to be evacuated...

** based on The Hip's Twitter feed and unconfirmed

On my phone so I won't post an in depth review, but is the sharing of vocals on Wheat Kings a new thing?

The best part of Fully was ruined for me; the dude beside me totally ate fist.

"Don't f@*k with the 401". Took me 2.5hrs. It was horrible.

Solid show. Liked the little jamming during much of the song intros. And was nice to hear Gord S sing a verse on WK. Lots of talking by Gord, and they all seemed to be in a good mood. Nice tweets by MAv too! Wondered why he was taking pics with an iphone when he had such a better camera!

I could totally do with less Courage, Blow, NOIS, for more Flamenco, Daredevil, and Escape. Love those tunes.

Wow. That was a long day. Work all day then a 4 hr drive to a show. Solid show. Then only 2.5 hours home. Fast car+0 traffic+ 0 opp = awesome. The show was cool and the venu had the best chairs I have had at a concert ever. Sound was meh but i was right up front thanks to a sweet ticket upgrade from thompsongirl. Maby I'm getting old but it was very loud :-). The set was mostly hits but done oh so we'll. I can't complain at all. Show hit a snafu for me when s double amputee and some drunk big dude decided to fight. The amputee got head butted and blacked out went into seizures blood everywhere. Wana bit of a distraction having to hold the other guy off of him and all the drunk girls who wanted to help away... People are so stupid. Plus I ruined my shoes. Soaked in blood. Great to see most people there were calm and cool. Awesome to see people from the base again! It's funny I have been going to shows for a long time and remember familiar faces just from seeing a lot of people over and over its nice to throw a name to a face. Took the last three songs of the encore from the soundboard area.... Loved daredevil. It was a Highlight for me. Boys are still putting everything into a performance. It's nice to see. Peace and love.

Great show last night. Was glad to hear Daredevil, Fire in the Hole, Flamenco, was great to see Gord Sinclair get involved in the vocals on Wheat Kings. Did anyone else think that Gord D. and Rob Baker seemed a bit under the weather? It didn't impact their performance much but they didn't seem like themselves.

Can't wait for Grand Falls!
