2006-06-21 - Belleville, ON - The Empire Theatre

I thought the crowd was good (and will take a so-called mellow crowd any day over what I saw at the first Fort York show).

In the crowd's defence, the first time I saw The Hip in a small venue I was completely blown away. I was a deer caught in the headlights. I think more than a few people felt that way in Belleville.

This goes out to everyone who was standing around that reporter from the Belleville Community News before the show (Trevor, Chris, BigA, dreyfuss, Adam and Kris I think and a few others).

Have you guys been able to locate an article online at all? I've been searching but haven't found anything. I think it'd be funny to see what she might have put together based on everything we told her.

Nice find <Mrs.> BigA!! A little hard to read at times because of the run-on sentences but overall, a good plug for both www.hipfans.com & www.hipbase.com!
