In no particular order.. just cuz i can't remember

Rink
Twist My Arm
Ocean
World Container
Family Band
Fly
Kids Don't Get It
Pretend
Flamenco
Giftshop
Springtime
Long Time Running
Grace, Too
Something On
3 Pistols
In View
It's A Good Life
Dire Wolf
Drop Off

I think i am forgetting a few.. sorry!

Great set.. the encore could have been better though... Something On, World Container and Springtime in Vienna

3 down 1 to go!

It would be unreal if they played the entire Fully Compleley album from start to finish. Isn't it about time more bands did stuff like this. Just surprise the audience!

I bet you all would freak if Hootie & The Blowfish plaed all of Crakked Rear View like that.. how good would that be.. Hannah Jane, Let Her Cry...

OK i can't carry that joke on anymore...

Back to The Hip... great sets so far.. so happy that i have been to each Van show so far.. a new surprise each night.

Big shout out to BIG A ... u rock.

You've got most of them. A couple add's that I can remember.

Fireworks
50 Mission Cap

Highlights...

Gordie going nuts during Twist My Arm running into the right stage speaker for about 15 seconds right in front of me.

Gordie unable to destroy any mic's tonight! Although he sat on it for about a minute and managed to bend it in half. He seemed impressed that it didn't break after the mic nightmares on Saturday. He then bent it back relatively straight and kept using it. I've got some great pics of him riding and bending the mic.

His new prop, the red hanky, using it this time as a bull fighter.

Very emotional version of Long Time Running. Gordie went to each band member before the song and spoke with each of them. I've never seen that before. He then mentioned that the band lost a close friend in San Diego recently and they dedicated the song to their friend. Not too sure who it was but it made an already moving song that more touching.

Gotta run... 3 down 1 to go. I'm ready for rehab...almost.

Was it me or did they not play Luv sic?

Can anyone confirm the setlist?

From the above it looks like no Luv (sic) and no Last Night I Dreamed Etc.

Nerdy Stats Update:

With the addition of Something On, that brings the total number of different songs played on this tour (the post-WC club dates in T.O., Calgary, and Vancouver) to 65:

TTH (0):
UTH (4): Blow, NOIS, 38YO, Boots
RA (7): Bones, Twist, LTR, Pistols, Verge, Fiddler's, Gems
FC (9): Courage, Meridian, Pigeon, Lionized, Locked, WGT, FC, 50MC, Wheat
DFN (10): Grace, DD, Greasy, YOS, Fire, SHDB, Nautical, Thugs, Scared, Titanic
TATH (6): Gift, Spring, ABAC, Daddy, Flamenco, Sherpa
PP (6): Poets, Something, STP, BobC, Fireworks, Escape
M@W (4): MMAW, Tiger, Lake, Puttin'
IVL (3): UIU, IAGLIYDW, Wolf
IBE (5): Heaven, Summer, Gus, Nashville, AWF

Wonder what surprises they got left in the tank before the last date in Montreal?

Here is the setlist, in order:
1. Rink
2. Twist
3. Ocean
4. Good Life
5. Drop
6. Wolf
7. Gift
8. Fly
9. 3 Pistols
10 Pretend
11. Flamenco
12. Fireworks
13. Kids
14. Grace
15. Last Night (on setlist - order switched with LTR but NOT PLAYED)
16. Long Time
17. View
18. 50 MC
19. Family
Encore
20. Something
21. World
22. Spring

The point about Last Night not being played could probably be answered through a quick check by either Mark or BigA. I thought it was played but Irish Hip Guy says otherwise.

Gord was definitely on last night. I did find the music a little off at times. The acoustics of the commodore, particularly when standing up close cause the bass to reverberate heavily. Kind of reminded me of the horseshoe tavern that way. Welcome to small venue rock concerts! Nonetheless it was awesome to rock out close to the stage.

Long Time Running as a previous poster mentioned was very powerful and emotional. I wonder what happened in San Diego.

I was a little surprised, albeit happily, that they played 50 mission cap. The only other time I heard them play it outside of Ontario was at the NYC New Years concert.

With all due respect to those rocking it out last night I found the crowd pretty lame/tame. A attribute that to three things: (A) Monday night (B) Vancouverite modesty (C) BC bud.

So, In View got dropped from its No. 3 spot in the batting order. Must be in a slump or something.

Last Night was indeed on the setlist but it was not played making this show the shortest show of the tour clocking in just over 100 minutes
(not including the CBC performance and Horseshoe).

Thanks for clearing that up Mark (and the PM from BigA).

I thought the crowd was sufficiently jazzed about the show and were quite vocal about their apprecaition of the band's efforts, especially for a Monday night. The crowd last night seemed more into the show than the Friday night crowd though.

3 Vancouver shows ranked by setlist and performance. IMHO, of course! With my non-WC favourites shown.

Setlist

1. Friday - Fully Completely paradise!
NOIS, Poets, Fiddler's Green, ATHM, Pigeion Camera, Lionized, Wheat Kings, Bones, Blow.

2. Saturday
Courage, Lake Fever, Fully Completely, Boots, 38Yrs, Nautical, Locked

3. Monday
Twist, Gift, Good Life, Grace, LTR, 50MC - No Luv sic!!! (:, Encore not one of my favourties.

Performance

1. Saturday
3 broken mics, goes down to first row and gives both pieces to 2 lucky fans, spends one minute trying to pic up dropped mic with feet, red hanky worn like hostage taker and takes random shots at audience, face plant and air kiss to unsuspecting bouncer.

2. Monday
unable to break a single mic stand, rides mic stand for 60 secs and only bends it in half then straightens it and continues using, continually slamming into large right stage speaker for 15 secs durning Twist, red hanky used like bull fighter.

3. Friday
Low energy compared to two other nights, does his monkey act.

Overall

1. Saturday
2. Monday
3. Friday

Tuesday. TBA
