Non WC songs in the set tonight. Not in order.

Fully
100th
NOIS
Bones
ABAC
Gift
Sherpa
Chagrin - teleprompter version
Blow
Escape
Puttin Down
Gus

Gordie got off to a realatively slow start tonight. But tonight was his best night for rants of the 4 Vancouver shows. Counted at least 4 extended/ semi-extended rants. Again, his new thing is to destroy a few mics. He again gave both parts to two fans in the front.

Highlight/Lowlight - Depending which way you look at it. Gordie couldn't remember the opening lines to Chagrin Falls. You could tell he was pissed but then he opened the mic to anyone who knew the first couple lines. No one could do it. Finally, he turned to the band and said I forget it, I can't remember and he was about to end it. Quite surprising but he ad-libbed well enough with asking the fans that he bought enough time for his roadie to through a MAC laptop at his feet with the words. He then said, oh yeah, now I remember. Once he got the first couple lines he was off. Sign of the times with technology, the roadie came back half way through the song and scrolled it down for him. Too funny. At the end of the song he said we were the first to see him have to use a teleprompter and he kept cursing himself. After a final "f**k" he moved on. The band had a good laugh at him durning the song. Good job Gordie for keeping it together and a couple extra Molson's for your roadie. No only did he replace a dozen of your mic stands this weekend, he was there with the MAC and even scrolled down for you. That was a classic!

Overall the performance was much better in the second half. I wasn't crazy about some of the setlist but Luv sic was back in. Thanx boys for a great 4 shows!

Was that a Macbook that I've heard Gord has, or some other type of laptop I never heard of?

Good early morning!! Thought it was a great show last night. Amazing to catch Gord have to actually use the laptop and then curse himself out for it. Glad I got to see that. As for the show, I thought the band was real tight.

Highlites:

Chagrin was just awesome to see live.
Blow is absolutely the best song to hear them preform
Grace, Too

I also have to say that World Container is so good. The song that is. It's all about Gord just flat out singing to the audience. Can see it becoming the next "Wheat Kings"

it's true, it's a 'good' show....

But with Fiddlers and 38 making appearences, those are the strong sets.

Thanks for sharing the review, must have been hilarious to watch and hear Gord verbally abusing himself....too funny. This tour has been just what the band and the fans needed.......can't wait for January to roll around :D
