From the setlist I saw posted on the BC site for the Kamloops show......yes they did! A lot more.
I do know a lot about them and their shows.......I have seen the Crowes 5 times now and they always did alot hits before and their shows rocked....I knew there would be at least 3 jams but not nearly as much as this time......Maybe you guys had to be there to see what it was like.
Anyways it was just good to see the Hip put on a good show.......so people could really rock out to it. That's the end of my 2 cents as you guys don't want to hear about the BC in this forum!
Check out the bad review that I posted in the Non Tragically Hip forum.
Absolutely great show, from start to finish. To hear three new songs in such a personal and intimate venue was great.
The band sounded great, the new songs were tight and polished. "Try" was especially good, great vocals from gord, my favorite tune from the night. It should also be noted that this song included several past rants including "70 days, 70 nights" and "getting beat up by a guy who cries before he fights." New maybe is a "must see" live, the studio version doesn't seem to do it justice after hearing the live counterpart.
The setlist was a little short with only one encore, but it left me thoroughly satisfied as i'm sure it did everyone else.
A few incidences in the crowd, Gord covered them nicely, turning them into highlights from the evening.
It was also nice to see some other basers. Glad to finally meet you guys.
i've sorted through my pics (i had about a 10% success ratio) and uploaded them here for the next few days:

The dude in the Maple Leafs jersey...is he a Hipbaser? I met him in 2001 at the Calgary folk festival while we were hanging around after the Gord Downie show, waiting to get an autograph.
