Hi all. This is a little late, but I just needed to rave about my first ever (but cetainly not last) TH show at the ACL Fest. At first I was dissapointed that they were at the Austin Ventures stage, which is a halfway stage between the giant stages. It's not bad, but it just seemed like a bit of an insult to this great band. (Stars, Dears, Sam Roberts, New Pornagraphers all played the big stages) But once the show started, it didn't matter one bit. The boys absolutely killed the place. As the glorious sound kept coming the crowd got bigger and bigger. I saw dozens of bands that weekend, but no one got the crowd as worked up as the Hip did that night. As you can tell, they sure left their mark on me.
I sure hope they come back to Texas soon so I can see a full show. How these guys aren't bigger in the states is just crazy.
