Horseshoe Tavern was the location.

The show was great - they played all of the songs from the new album along with Bobcaygeon, Fully Completely, My Music At Work and The Wherewithal.

One encore - two songs.

Gord D. seemed really thrilled to be there, and totally stoked about the new record.

The crowd was receptive to the new tracks, and the drunk captain Canada's seemed to be strangely absent.

As this was a radio contest there were a lot of people there just because they won tickets and were not fans of the band.

Audio (4 sources) and video (5 cameras at least) were recorded. This show will be in the vaults for a while as I have a huge list of shows already queud up for editing.

Unbelieveable to see them in a venue like that. The new songs sounded great live, and the band was bursting with energy.

To top it off, it was great to meet all you hipbasers tonight.

Didn't take too many photos, because they all turned out like the blurry one below....this was the best of the bunch unfortunately.

Also a big thanks to TLB for letting me take the photo of the setlist.

And finally, a massive THANK YOU to MAv for opening his "secret stash" of tickets to the hipbase.

Unbelieveable.

i am pretty sure that is Gord D setlist. usually he has the cords written on the setlist.

also, am i the only one disappointed to see NOIS back on the set? not because of what happened last year, but because there are so many other songs that could easily fill that spot.

Anyone catch any mistakes in terms of lyrics, timing, etc.? I was just wondering....because the songs are so new, they may not be used to playing them yet. This happened at the Molson Ampitheatre show in 2004. I didn't notice it at the concert, but when I listened to the show later I realized that they completely f***'ed up Makeshift.

AWESOME SHOW!!! It certainly ranks in the top 5 for me. I've never been so close to the stage in such a small venue. It was great to see so many hipbasers at the show.

All of the new songs sound really good. I'm loving Family Band and Kids Don't get it the most. My ears are ringing like crazy today.

I think this will be one hell of an awesome dvd when Chris gets around to it. I'll be forever greatful to a certain someone at the edge for the hook-up.

4 days til the Phoenix!
