Good show.
Gord was on for this show. Fiddlers was great having missed the Commodore of it. The one song that did not sit well with me was wheat Kings. Love the song, but the band & Gordie just weren't completely together for it. 100th had "Get James Brown to Sing my Eulogy" There was great jamming on Dough.

They did the set change behind a big black drape and then dropped the Drape & the band started playing. Interesting effect.
The stage was pretty cool. It was four video screens in a semi circle type thing with a video screen over head. The started using it during lake Fever and it looked like some boating images out of Thailand or something. They also have a couple cameras on stage that they project on the screen. There is one right in the middle front of the stage that Gordie was having fun with. So that's what a 50 ft gord is.

I am hoping that they are doing a cover for every Encore. Fingers crossed that I get It Makes No Difference tonight

Is this the first tour with video screens with the band on them? I've seen screens before, but the ones from the IBE tour were just interesting backdrops, right?

Maybe they have a huge blow-up doll that comes out in the middle of a song, much like G 'N R used to do during their concerts! I think it would be even cooler if a 700ft Gord blew up as the boy ripped in to 700ft ceiling! [/quote]

Hey i saw a blow up shark floating around. Never quite made it to the stage though

The Sadies were very solid live, and seemed quite comfortable rocking in front of an arena audience.

Fiddlers Green? Fiddlers Green?

I thought that was the song they've never played and never would play?

I've never heard it live and would blow my mind to hear!!

That's the fourth time its been played in the recent era. It was played in Calgary for the first time on October 28th, and then again in Vancouver and Montreal on their recent club tour.
