EXACTLY!!! Just enjoy the show, but be aware of where they're playing.

I had meet & greet passes for Edmonton and Red Deer. Gord D. didn't show up for the Edmonton one, but he was at the Red Deer one...he says that he's getting a little tired (which explains the lack of energy that night). Road life isn't easy...I'm surprised he has so much energy most nights!

We all know that most live performances are best played in a small, intimate and interactive environment; it's not just The Hip.
When I go and buy tickets for the Hip in an arena, I do knowing that it won't sound as well as a little venue (like MacEwan Hall). One thing I hated at Rexall was hearing ppl complain of how bad the sound is.....really!!!? It's Rexall....expect it, live with it, & enjoy it.
All that $$$ there you guys should build a new arena...lol

Our fairly new MTS center (Winnipeg) has outsatnding sound, the Hip opened it up two years back. For an arena the sound is just superb. No NHL though....
A Hip set list is like a box of chocolates..you never know which one you're going to get.

"If the hip were only interested in making money they would charge $99 and then show up for 14 songs and leave"

So instead they charge 75 to play 18.

While I understand what you are saying, in 2000 they only charged 40 dollars and yes they played two sets.

They charge too much and thats the bottom line.

You're welcome! There were so many of them that I just couldn't be bothered to do the processing until now. It's a shame I don't have a better zoom, but I'm glad I was able to capture the lighting and videos for most of the songs, that ought to help me remember things.

I know this is over two years later, but is there still a password that can be used to view the photos?
