Well, I just got back from the show, it was really good (although after those Calgary club gigs it is hard to see them in a big arena). They opened with Rink, followed by NOIS. I don't remember the setlist exactly but some highlights included Fiddler's Green (that made the show), Lionized (another great addition to the setlist), Locked in the Trunk, 100th Meridian, IAGLIYDW, and Scared. They also played ABAC, Blow, 3 Pistols, Bobcaygeon, and Poets. They didn't play anything from IBE, and from WC they also played Ocean, In View, World Container, Family Band and Drop Off.

The band was pretty tight, I didn't notice any major screw ups, but the sound wasn't the best. It was horrible at the start and improved throughout the show, but I actually had a bit of trouble hearing Paul's guitar, and the bass was too loud (IMO).

Way better than GP, largely due to the killer encore, but Lionized helped too.

More/photos eventually.

our section was lame, we were the only ones who stood and rocked and danced for the entire show, sad really, anyway in that one pic of you can see bigA and markslog's taping rigs, it was a fine show!

Another great setlist! Cool pics as well, prairieman. I like the t-shirt you bought. Incidentally, who is who in that photo? Are they all Hipbasers? I like putting faces to names.

Nice setlist.
I ended up taking photos for SEE magazine at the show, unfortunately 3 song limit/no seat or ticket. I wasn't worried about it, seeing how it was technically my 6th time seeing the band. It's the only concert that I've ever had to leave early.
But FIDDLER'S GREEN?!?
At least there was no Cordelia otherwise I'd be crying right now.
I'll link photos if I can.

sorry bonner and Escape@hand, I was so drunk when I posted this last night I thought you had typed IVL not IBE, my apologies, was trying to get the list posted as before I fell on my face :P

off to work now, my cranium feels a bit tight this morning

The only hipbaser in those photos is myself (fully completely shirt), I was about to snag one with BigA and markslog (sorry if any spelling mistakes) but the lights went out and it was TIME!

Holy shit Batman - Summer Side of Life???

That's a Gordon Lightfoot tune... I know they played in 1995, but crap - that's 11 and a half years ago! SWEET!!!

They can pull that out again for Red Deer or Lethbridge!
