This show is on Preakness Day in Baltimore - not sure I can pull off the all day double-header but it's tempting. In my younger days I wouldnt think twice. :jump

Any idea what time the show starts? I suppose it's the usual 10:00pm The Hip come on, but I need to juggle a few things and didn't want to assume.

Really good show, had a lot of fun. Great crowd, saw lots of familiar faces from pervious shows. Nothing thrown at the stage, and all the drunk frat boys were probably still at the Preakness. Gord seemed rather happy, and talked a bit more between songs than any of the other shows I've seen this year. Broke 2 guitar strings but even that didn't seem to bother him.

Papa's Got a Brand New Bag was rather interesting. The band started it off, and it sounded a bit odd, so Gord said "let's try that again". The second time was more successful. I was hoping for a couple of James Brown moves from Gord but he was concentrating on the lyrics too much. Afterwards Rob was laughing about how they screwed it up.

Saw all the guys after the show and they were all very happy. I think they're all looking forward to this break in the tour.

Can you believe how small that place was?
I am continaully amazed that the Hip can play such small venues, and even then it seems that most of the people there have travelled from Canada!
Great show, I had a blast, even while cradling a sleeping 2-year old through the entire show! (We were on a family vacation. What to do? -- couldn't NOT see the Hip, couldn't leave the baby... On the other hand, my 5-yr old daughter is a huge fan and had a great time!)

Excellent show and venue. Anyone know who the opener was? They said they were from Halifax, but i never caught their name. They were pretty good.
