Gotta say, it's a teensy bit sad how excited I am for this show. It will be my first taste of a small US club Hip show. 2 months and 2 days to go...

Finally they come back to my home town! Except for the Who tour, they haven't been here since Henhouse (although Gordie came here solo once and played for about 75 of us). I expect a small crowd with most being out of towners. Come to Indy and fill this venue so I don't have to wait another 13 years for them to come back. I log a lot of miles to see them, but it's nice when they come to me...

For the out of towners, one warning about this venue... they require 2 pieces of ID. Make sure you have them with you. They can be a-holes and I have seen them turn people away who only had one (a credit card is fine for second piece).

Please,please, please!!!! Listen to Dan-O and come out to the Indy show! I'm sure a few fans will show Cincy as I've already spread the word to some of the people I know in the area. Hey Chicago only a couple hours. Columbus and Toledo are close enough. From what I've been told the Vogue is a Historic old theater and should be quite the venue for an outstanding show. Let's make it happen!

I'm becoming giddy with anticipation as well.

The Vogue looks like a great venue. As a smoker (spare the lecture) I rejoice that I won't be distracted from the set with sporadic nicotine cravings. YAY!

Here's hoping for good weather, a solid setlist and fairly priced beer! (maybe I overshot with the last one...) :thumb:

The Vogue is a great venue. And there are a lot of places within walking distance to get lubed up before the show. The Broad Ripple Tavern is a decent place right around the corner from the Vogue and will probably be my after dinner/before the show hang out.

Two days and counting...

On their website it says you need two forms of ID to enter - driver ID and credit card for example.
Just an FYI for you guys - since I do not know how strict they actually are.

If my passport and driver's license can't get me into a club in Indiana, I'm in trouble. I might as well take the ole student ID for good measure too! :roll:

It depends on who's working the door... but they can be very strict about it. This club is notorious for being a-holes at the door. I've seen them turn people away who only had one piece of ID. Once you're in, no problems.

Does anyone know the camera policy for tonight? The site says it varies from band to band - I assume this means that they'll be okay.

Point and shoot cameras are fine. SLR, not so good.
