Any bets on "the Gambler" as a cover...no pun intended :)

Suspicious minds was the cover, last song of the night! Great show as always. Drop Off was the best for me. Fully, Flamenco, Scared, Putting down some of the alternative songs.

Good stuff! So it was an Elvis tune (but not 'Viva Las Vegas' as suspected.)

The Elvis fan inside of me is going nuts right now... all that's missing is the Sweet Inspirations singing the falsetto harmonies in the background.

First half of this song sounded really good, but there's a huge breakdown about 2:00 in. Oh well.

Thanks Mark and Chris!

Cheers,

Pat

An Elvis cover AFTER Fire? Wow, how was that in the set?

...and of course Puttin' Down was in there!

Chris, how did you manage to get this up on your website so fast. I mean, the Hip couldn't have gotten off the stage until 2 or 3 am Eastern.

Furthermore, with complete seriousness, did Mark Sloggett win the lottery? I've been following his blog with interest. But, the same question keeps popping into my head "How in the hell does he do this?" I have seen him at probably every Hip concert I have ever been to.

He's got a great job with lots of vacation time. What more could he ask for?
