there hasn't been a hip show in fredericton since the Fully Completely tour. that is way too long.

i am hoping and praying for So Hard Done By. *cough* that is one of the very few songs that i really want to hear, but haven't.

Seriously though, I can't think of anyone I know personally who would appreciate the tickets as much as you, so i'm glad you were able to take them off my hands in this situation. As depressin as it is that I can't make it back for the show...
Lol i'll not wear anything you want me to not wear lol as long as i get to this show i don't care bout anything else today!

anyone have seats close to me?
row 6 on the floor seat 34-35

SLR Camera's

Post by MAverick »

Just so I am clear, that was a typo which I am sorry I did not catch sooner. SLR type camera's are NOT allowed. Never have been. Sorry for the confusion.

Just don't do it during the show as someone yelling "Hey man!!!! You're taping... that's awesome!" really sucks during the playback. :)

Set list was something like:

Lonely End of the Rink
New Orleans is Sinking
Fully Completely
Dire Wolf
You're Not the Ocean
Ahead by a Century
In View
Poets
Flamenco
Fireworks
Substitute (cover)
Hundredth Meridian
Kids Don't Get It
Bobcaygeon
Nautical Disaster
Family Band
Blow at High Dough

Courage

Grace Too

Thanks to the guys who raised a glass at Dolan's before the show. Nice meeting you. Sean, looked like you had a good time, we could see you at the front from our seats beside the stage.

Next up Halifax...

Setlist as I heard it - might have missed one but Jeez I was far too into to it to make notes.

Lonely
New O
Fully
Dire
Ocean
ABAC
In View
Poets
Flamenco (does noone know this song?)
Fireworks
Who cover (not sure the title)
100th
Kids Don't Get It
Bobcaygeon
Nautical
Family Band (ya baby)
Blow
-
Courage
Springtime
Grace, too (uhh - could this be any better)

Great concert. Good sounds, tight venue. Was nice for the first concert out of province for me.
Crowd was ok - not like SW Ont. that I could see.
Flamenco was a let down for me as far as the fans went but man was it great. Maybe not many knew that song.
Great show. Looking forward to Halifax and I'll try to keep a setlist for that too ;)

That setlist is all good. The Who cover was Substitute.

The Soundcheck went like this.

Yer Not The Ocean
Substitute (twice)
FREAK TURBELENCE
Ahead By A Century
Flamenco

Freak Turbulence was written on the setlist, but they played Courage instead.

Lots of stories for later. Was told Freak would most likely be played in the coming days.

The covers they are doing won't be new for the next little while, as they are "revisiting" they're favourites.

Downie had some great moments. He hopped into the pit before the crowd alot... he did this during Rink.

He "committed suicide" during Grace, Too... complete with a face plant.

Lance has a great picture of Gord giving the finger during Flamenco ("You said no-one takes me anywhere).

Holy fuckin moly! See ya in Halifax!

Didn't make it to the pub in time.

They played a lot of the hits but thats ok, flemanco was a treat. The guys sounded fantastic though, gord was awsome and paul kicked my ass! Great concert! :thumb:
