Lately, the Hip have been pulling out rarities from different albums.

UTH-Opiated
RA-Fiddlers
FC-Eldorado
TATH-Put It Off
IVL-Dark Canuck

It think a rare gem from IBE is due. Maybe You're Everywhere?

You're Everywhere features Robbie's lap steel slide guitar, and so far, it don't think it has been set up for any of the shows. I'd be surprised if they even brought it on the tour.
I really hope they do bring it back, as I do love You're Everywhere and also Vaccination Scar.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Robbie used his lap steel during that first performance (called "balroom" then) for the last edgefest in Barrie. So I guess they could bring it back without the lap steel.

show was good but empty maybe 600 people there

crowd was really lame but gord was great

dont remember the setlist here goes what i remember them playing

Rink (great intro smoke em if you got em)
Grace
gus
family band
fireworks
Fidlers
Oceans (New York your not the ocean at least not yeat)
New Orleans (This ones for bush new orleans is sinking and I dont want to help!)
100th (Brought some girl on stage from the crowd really cool)
bob
little bones
WC
springtime

Thats all i can remember for now

Gord was very talkative and looked to be having lots of fun. The sound in the venue was a little off, I brought someone who had never seen them before or heard an album and she couldnt make out anything he was saying, she thought he was just randomly screeming. She also kept asking me if he was wasted or what was wrong with him ( I explained to her that he ws just Canadian and that is how Canadians dance!) Needless to say I doubt I will see this girl again lol!

I thought the crowd was a little lame, we moved up to the front and some dude shoved me and told me I was in his space. I told him its a concert and to chill out, than his butchy gf shoved my friend, it was intesnse for no reason especailly considering the place was half empty !

Great show overall!

Marcus mentioned Dark Canuck. When have they played that recently? That is among my top five, one that seemed destined for live greatness right out of the wrapper, but which we have seen precious little of since the the IVL tour, and even then only sporadically. Who's fer the Dark Canuck?

Good show, lame crowd indeed!

Highlites:
Gord bringing that girl up on stage and tying her hair back! Giving her credit for him finally, successfully flipping the stand over his back!

That version of "Escape." Have they been playing it that way for awhile or was it a unique event? I hope it sticks for awhile, because it was the best live version of it I've ever heard!

Replacing "Bobby Orr" with "Brian Leach" in Fireworks. Nice tribute to NY and Brian's thing coming up. Too bad no one in the audience got that reference.

Wish we got that second show tonight. Enjoy Philly!

The Rangers were in Pittsburgh last night, but the Islanders didn't play.
