I just came back from downtown and I was talking to people as they were coming into Lone Star afterwards. I guess the acoustics were great, the band was on and a couple microphones may not have made it through the night.

No Fiddler's, but I'm interested to see the whole list.

Yeah back in Brockville. great time as always. Super greatest hits set. Pretty much the same as the Brockville show, with a few exceptions.
First time I've heard Pigeon camera and On the Verge. Got lots of pictures too. During the first encore, some idiot who was escorted out earlier tried to get back to the front of the stage and he started shit with security. Couple of choke holds later and he was gone, and his buddy was back in his seat with his tail between his legs. Interesting way to end it. Elwood Blues on the harp was a nice treat.

From my trusty blackberry:

1. the lonely end of the rink
2. new orleans is sinking
3. Fully completely
4. grace, too
5. it's a good life if you don't weaken
6. ahead by a century
7. in view
8. pigeon camera
9. courage
10. world container
11. fiddler's green
12. fireworks
13. 50 mission cap
14. poets
15. bobcaygeon
16. yer not the ocean
17. at the hundredth meridian
18. 38 years old
19. family band
20. my music at work
21. blow at high dough
--
22. locked in the trunk of a car (w. dan akroyd)
23. wheat kings
24. on the verge
--
25. little bones

I enjoyed this one way more than brockville. Maybe it was being back in the hometown for the first time in ages, maybe it was the heightened emotions of *the band* being back in the hometown for the first time in ages, but for whatever reason, it was great. Locked was out of this world. (I was hoping for something special when they came out for the second encore, but alas it was just a solid version of little bones. Oh well.)

Wow! Pigeon Camera! How cool! :thumb:

What did Dan Akroyd do/play on Locked?

This sounds like an amazing show.

I'll keep it short as I know a few more reviews are coming.

A prety solid set list for the crowd
that was there, which was a bit different then other Hip show I've been to. This was a huge 'grand opening family event', I don't think I have ever seen such an age mix at their show as I did last night?

Pigeon and Verge were fantastic to hear, I was hoping for just one more gem in there, but all in all a good solid show.

Lastly I would like to thank the drunk girl sitting in secton 110 row 14 who, after falling over her seat and almost crushing a young kid, decided to get back up, sit down behind us and then throw up all over my 11 year old daughters coat. Class act all the way. You taught my daughter a great life lesson to never grow up to be anything like you.

I'll be the first to admit I have had quite a few drunk days in my life, but I will never understand spending that kind of money just to be so drunk you foget everything, including ruining everyone's night around you.

So once again, thank you very much, you made my daughters first concert experience quite memorable, Class act all the way. I have to go now to get my daughters coat out of the washing machine.

Good show until Fireworks started. Two drunken buffoons standing in the row behind us decided that grabbing one of the tapers mic stands was a good idea. For anyone else who thinks it might be a good idea, let me tell you that it isn't. Firstly you're going to get pounded by the taper. Secondly you're going to get tossed out of the show. This is what happened last night.

That said, I'll be putting a bunch of posters from last nights show up for auction to raise some money to replace the gear that this jackass broke.

Aside from this issue, the show was enjoyable. The back-to-back of Pigeon Camera and Courage was great. The crowd seemed really into the show, singing every song.

Dan on the harmonica during Locked was a great treat, although it was hard to hear his parts for the first half of the song.
