I personally taped these shows and have the masters. They were surreptitiously recorded on an Aiawa cassette recorder with the stereo mic taped to a pencil sticking out of my breast pocket. Being 6’5” helped to get the mic up into the sound.
Is someone with the technical know-how interested in them? I would simply ask for them to be mailed back to me along with a CD copy of each and that they be made digitally and publicly available. However you kids manage that these days. Ha!
The DC show is from October ‘93 at a Georgetown club, The Bayou, which is long gone. I don’t think I ever traded it out. It includes a “King of Pain” intro into Fully. Also, NOIS includes a rant of the Lincoln monument coming to life and honest Abe stomping down the Mall. Appropriate timing given our upcoming US election.
The Harrisburg, PA show was August ‘94 at Club Met. It is also history. A dive but good acoustics and a great show.
I attended McGill University in the early eighties and learned of the Hip through Canadian friends. Was grateful to have seen them many times in small venues south of the border.
Let me know if you are interested and able to add these to the digital database and return the originals along with a CD of each. You can best reach me at: jestusg @ gmail.com
Cheers!
