I'm considering retiring from active Hip-going duty after tonight. That's because I heard "Thugs," and as far as I'm concerned I've no place left to go (well, except maybe to "Titanic Terrarium," but seriously...I just heard "Thugs"). Killer show tonight! Different vibe from Banff--Gord was much more subdued, for one--but the setlist was out of left field (I've been in tour blackout mode for a while) and, in addition to "Thugs," I heard "Thompson Girl" and "Looking for a Place to Happen" for the first time. #21 for me; #22 on Wednesday! Ears!!!

I videotaped this show from the 5th ROW I will post the video soon, Ill be taping all three nights, I cant believe Gord took off and walked on the seats 2/3 up the floor, best hip show I ve been to yet. Gord screamed so loud in Grace Too ive never head anything like it, Crowd was dead until little kid came on stage and strummed the guitar for Gord.

Awesome show... a little concerned with the large overlap from the Banff show (14 songs), but whatever...

Slight correction to the setlist summary in this thread - after Fiddler's Green came Grace, Too - no Gift Shop.

That was one of my manager's kids who did the deed during Bobcaygeon - they were pretty pumped when we saw 'em before the show... can't imagine how excited they must've been! It's nearly 5am here and I bet the lucky little tyke is still awake. I know I would be!

Exchange the "Titanic Terrarium" to "Cordelia" or "Trickle Down," and I am done too. Oh, and double the amount of shows attended to get my first "Thugs."
