I think it's a compilation thing so we should start pestering KMTT to include the Hip.

NM... Just found this...
There will be no opening act on the outing; instead, the group will perform two sets each night consisting of 13-14 songs, with a 20-minute intermission between the sets. Dates are below.
Very Excited for tonight's show!!!
Can't find info anywhere on an opening act? Is there one??

Nope. The Hip play two sets. The first three songs of the second set are acoustically performed.LisaSeattle wrote:Very Excited for tonight's show!!!

Lisa

Sorry, the archives we have are incomplete. They are pretty spot on from 1994 onward, but pre-1994 the only dates we know of are mainly shows that have audience recordings.LisaSeattle wrote:TY for the reply!

I didn't put it on the tracker, as they are mp3s. Sorry for this "lossy" format... they are 320 mp3s though.

Waking up highlights:
A beautiful, laid-back venue
The Exact Feeling
Gord saluting the non-lameasses upstairs
"Seattle- our home away from home. There's coffee and girls."
The two guys in row 1 dancing in unison to Morning Moon
Gord ganking some dude's flask
The lighting setup
The Rules, acoustic
It wasn't 106 degrees!!
My cam took much better pics than in Portland
Opening with The Dep. Suite
Lots of old stuff to keep the oldtimers happy
Hearing Gus in the states (though it always feels preachy or like a dig
Watching from row 1 center of the balcony - only the best way for old people to rock out!

WHOAH!! You must have been sitting right near me!! I was row 1 balcony too, right center. Were you near those two funny dudes who were standing up doing swimming motions the whole time?? HEH.mastodonfarm wrote:Waking up highlights:

Great show. Loved the mix of the Portland and Seattle set lists, very different.
For me The Rules acoustic was the highlight followed very closely by Wheat Kings.
Was it just the angle or did Rob's jeans look a little er, ill fitting??

The Hip . com site has Unplucked Gems listed in place of The Last Recluse following Nautical Disaster . Anyone know which is correct?

Definitely Recluse. No Gems for Seattle.
