Is anyone planning on taping this show? I'm going to be there and I'm sure I'll want a copy afterwards.

Good one, Josh.

The easiest way to guarantee you'll end up with a recording is to do it yourself. If you don't know how, ask.

It doesn't cost a lot to get started - but like anything, the sky is the limit for how much you can spend.

Use photography as an analogy: You can get fine photos from a basic point and shoot digital camera. But to really capture the moment you need to spend more on better gear.

Its how and why I started taping 20 years ago. And 20 years ago it was so much harder to get live recordings
than it is now a days.

Here's another 'fuzzy' rundown (God, my short-term memory is getting bad) until the official list is posted on thehip.com:

1. Depression
2. View
3. Coffee
4. Twist
Moon, Good Life, NOIS
8. Honey
9. Tiger
10. Meridian
11. Queen

1. Bear - a
2. Wheat - a
3. Fireworks - a
4. Spring
Recluse, Courage, IOD, Yawning, Nautical, Struggle
11. Family B
12. Bones

1. Frozen
2. Blow

My breakdown: 8 N, 12 A, 2 B, 2 C (Tiger, Yawning), 1 D (Bear). Again, 12 A's - a bit much for me, but good for the 'casual' fan. Strangely, 9 repeats from last night, if you count the acoustic / regular switch of Fireworks and Courage. Yet again, a bit much imo. The crowd was more into it tonight v. night 1.

Surprisingly, I thought night 1 was a better performance, eventhough I enjoyed night 2 more. But that's just me.

Little bones not in an encore...a first

Hoping Saturday they will play Silver Jet for the first time...saving it for Detroit and the fiasco with the corporate jets to washington.

What are the 12 A's? I remember seeing a post from you before that might have identified this but I can't find it.
A night without Poets, BobC and Music has to be a nice change.
I can't remember the last time I saw a show without one of those being played - and it's usually 2 or more.

john cage wrote: Good, solid show, but imo, too many 'A' songs in this setlist - 12 of them (I've ranked all songs on albums from A - D or N for new, A being the hits, casual fan favorites, concert staples, B being tunes expected sometimes, C being rarities, might be played every so often, D being songs I didn't think had a chance - deep vault).
