Did anyone see the actual setlist? It looked to me like abac was a last minute change. They were tuning guitars and then scrambled and got different guitars.

Yup. it was a change. The Exact Feeling was supposed to be played but switched to ABAC at the last minute.nhaste wrote:Did anyone see the actual setlist? It looked to me like abac was a last minute change. They were tuning guitars and then scrambled and got different guitars.
Sorry to not be able to send a live setlist tonight...couldn't get a WIFI connection on my iPod touch. Will have some video clips tomorrow to post though!

This was a good show, but for me it just didn't compare to last night, which was just outstanding. More "non new album repeats" than usual for a consecutive night, but can't really complain. I just hope when I see 3 shows at Artpark in a row I get a good mix.

Man, you can sure tell a Saturday crowd, eh? The place was jumping from the start. A full day of prep does a body good. The crowd feeds off each other. It's fun watching other people rock out and the upper decks were shaking last night.
Getting IOD and Yawning back-to-back was a real treat, something I didn't see coming. Reminds me of going to shows just up the road at Church & Carlton. Verge never disappoints. One more show at the old Hall. I'm really going to miss having these guys so close for so long. It's become quite convenient.

Fine show, good crowd but I didn't think it had quite the energy of Friday. We we're sitting 9th row floor on the centre right side and had a massive section of seats beside us completely empty until 2 minutes before the lights went out. There were 4 undercover security guards around the section that helped usher what looked like the entire extended Hip family (kids included) to the empty seats. Did anyone else see this??? Gord dedicated a happy birthday to Lulu (sp?) before one of the songs and a dedication to Carol (sp?) on another occation, both times pointing to the section of seats beside us. I might be way off on this one but it looked like last night was a special family and friends show for the boys. The whole throng was escorted backstage for the intermission and brought back promptly before Bear. I'm pretty sure Gord's wife was there wearing a sharp white suite with a very cool fedora - we met her, Gord and baby in stroller before a show in Boston several years ago. Anyway, I ramble on about non show stuff but I thought it was interesting.

The woman in the fedora was Kathryn Humphreys aka Mrs Johnny Fay.thebends wrote:Fine show, good crowd but I didn't think it had quite the energy of Friday. ^ The family parade was at each show I assume as it was the same thing on monday.
The show last night was amazing, granted not as good looking of a set list as fridays show but it was defenetly a high energy show. Unfortunetly a lot of the show was very similar having been to the Danforth and Massy 1. I sat beside two Electricians that made the drive up from Detroit and are lucky enough to be hitting a couple Red Wings games
Highlists were devenetly IOD and Verge,
Also a huge thanks to Billy Ray who handed me Gord's microphone stand after the show!!! I'm thinking I'll either turn it into a lamp or use it to hang my hat on!
