So, if I'm reading this right, the acoustic set featured An Inch An Hour and Courage... sexy.

Cheers,

"Fitted with a white handkerchief, which he regularly s'épongeait front, an intense and fully Downie inhabited by music immediately set the tone for the evening program."

I think I'm going to stop by an engravers on the way home and get this cut into a bracelet or a tombstone or something.

(the funny thing is, I can totally picture Downie, fitted with a white handkerchief and fully inhabited by music, s'epongeait son front.)

Captivating trousers and a juicy NOIS -- sounds like a great show.

I remember when Day for Night came out. I lined up outside of A&A Records(long since has been replaced by Music World & HMV) to get my copy. They opened but we were informed that the CD copies had not come in yet. Anyways I bought the cassette. Listened to it and remembering how much of an awesome song An Ince an Hour was. I would love to hear that in St. John's, and accoustically.... even crazier!

Do you mean that there were actual tables there?
And what were the acoustic songs?

The venue is more of a theater; at the front you are sitting at tables.

The acoustic part was "Inch an hour", "Courage", and I think a new song from the latest album.

From the top of my head, they played (not in order): Blow at high dough, New Orleans, Pigeon Camera, Courage, Grace too, Thugs, Inch an hour, Scared, Gift shop, Ahead by a century, Don't wake daddy, Poets, Fireworks, Music at work, Yer not the ocean, and probably 4 or 5 more from the newest album (haven't heard it yet, sorry!).

Here's part of the Courage acoustic version (my cam doesn't allow more than 3 minutes filming...)

I think the other acoustic song might have been "Scared".
