Not much I can add to what Sarah has said already. Another cracking show! I think Gord was a bit penned in on such a tiny stage but he still went for it in a big way.
The acoustic set and Nautical/Escape back-to-back were the definite high lights for me. I've also really enjoyed ATHM a lot more on these recent shows with Gords rants. Such an amazing band.
It was nice to meet the guys after with a handful of other fans. I had my photo taken with Gord D which I'm very pleased about! I'll post it when I get home.

Well, he said "Look mean" just before the photo was taken, but I was too busy grinning like an idiot so I didn't notice.767F/O wrote:Great photo! That will no doubt make it a night you will never forget!

Here's a video I shot last night to give you an indication how small the place is. The stage was tiny!

that's great. any more? how was the sound? I found the sound at The Forum a bit muddy, with Robbie's guitar too loud.

Great picture Ben!
I have about 200+ photos, which I'll upload when I get home. But to give you a sneak peak, here's how close I was - no need for zoom this night!
Sinclair had to watch it 'cause he kept getting Rob's hair caught in his strings! And Rob said he was scared of falling down the stairs on the side.
I also took a lot of mini videos because I was trying to capture everything I could. I'll try to post them too.
Honestly, it was like when you went to go see your friend's in their high school band at the tiny all-ages club. Only this time, the band was much better!

I noticed you can really hear Bryson's keyboard fills in those clips, and it kicks all kinds of ass. Especially during Grace, Too. I wasn't really able to hear him much during the shows I saw this year except during the quieter numbers. I love what he adds to the show.

Great show in such a ridiculously tiny place. Amazing to be so close that you have to avoid importatnt looking cables when putting your beer down... As has been stated we were perilously close to Robbie and GS. And I almost shat when they taped the set for set 2 down in front of us. Just a bloody fantastic night . Great to meet Ben again and hang out with Sarah. Oh, and then we all stayed behind after and got pics, autographs and said thanks to the band too. I got a load of pics as well (which will be pretty identical to Sarah's And a vid of Nautical. Will get them up on Flickr asap.
The Tragcially Hip - a band I am always VERY proud to be a fan of.
