17 - New Orleans Is Sinking (Nautical Disaster)
18 - Locked in the Trunk of a Car

19 - Lonely End of the Rink
20 - Wheat Kings
21 - Little Bones

Transformation was awesome. I agree with everyone saying that it is the best of the three new ones. Drip Drip was good. I have a recording of it that I'll have to see if it's worth posting. Nautical Disaster was unbelievable as usual, especially in the middle of NOIS.
Crowd wasn't great and Gord barely spoke to the crowd but it was still an awesome show. The Hip is always a safe bet for a great show!

just getting in from downtown, had a few drinks a a couple bars...kinda intoxicated now lol...i thought the concert was awesome, the casino has a nice room i thought it made the sound so wicked, probably the best sound ive heard from the hip....they were rockin, the crowd coulda been more energetic though it seemed like only a few were really "given'er". Solid show though especially for the casual fan or people who dont know much about the hip, they were treated to a good show for sure.
On a final note, not one song from M&W but i had a blast with an evening with the tragically hip. good night!

That's odd. He was the complete opposite on the 2009 tour; very talkative and full of energy. Maybe he's getting bored from playing the same songs every night for the last 4 gigs. I really hope the identical setlists are for the documentary they're shooting. Please tell me there was a camera crew in the building.

Tickets were $85 taxes & fees in and they were still selling them at the door. 14 hours later and I'm not sure it was worth it. I'm sad to say that. It was my 25th show and was lacking something. As mentioned before, that room at Casino NB couldn't possibly have better sound - I was dead center right in front of the soundboard and, at times, I closed my eyes and couldn't believe how crisp & perfect it was. They are & will continue to attract big artists. I saw Billy Ray on the far left of the stage just before the show so I yelled: "Billy Ray, same set list as Ontario?" He heard me and emphatically shook his head no. He must have misunderstood the question.

Anyhoo, Gord didn't say anything to the crowd at all but my eyes were mostly on Robbie & Gord S. - they were fucking on fire last night. The setlist was, again, meh. Transformation WAS awesome. Streets & Drip were meh in my opinion. I REALLY liked Lonely End of the Rink being thrown in as the encore opener. The end of Fully was really good & extended. In View needs to be retired.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give the show a 6 but because of the sound I'll bump it up to 7.

This was The Hip show that was a long time coming for me. After years, I finally convinced a lot of friends to come. We were about three feet from the fence right in front of Paul. Thought the show was fantastic. The only crowd acknowledgment seemed to be right before The Lonely End of the Rink when my friend held up a sign that said 'Emperor Penguin'. Gord said to her, "This isn't that, but this one is for you".

That was the only crowd interaction I saw. Sinclair had the biggest smile on his face during Wheat Kings I noticed (still into that song after all these years). Show was from 8-10... I couldn't believe how early it was when the show was over. Hearing Hip songs I've never heard before was amazing (I haven't watched any of the videos), and at the time I thought 'Drip Drip' was my favourite.

I'm sure I'll give more deets later. This is all well and good for you, but I've got some work to do...

See ya in Charlottetown.

I hadn't planned on going to the show (broke - $$) but scored free tix via a connection at a local radio station a few hours before the show so the wife and I trucked it up to the north end of the city. It was my first time seeing them in 6 years and my 6th show overall so I was pumped for the show. As others have mentioned, the sound last night was incredible and the band was pretty tight for the most part.

The setlist was "hits" heavy, with some new tracks sprinkled in for effect. NOIS -> ND -> NOIS was a highlight, first time seeing that segue for me, and Fiddler's Green was excellent, another first for me. I didn't like "Drip Drip", but the other two new tracks were decent, looking forward to hearing the finished product. My wife asked halfway through the set what the chances were that we'd get 'Coconut Cream' tonight, my reply was "sadly only at Jean's Diner on the way home honey".

Big thanks to the Hip for making a Moncton stop, they're always entertaining.

Great show last night, as already stated, the sound was incredible. We were in the 2nd row, right in front of Rob. Loved Transformation, and New Orleans/Nautical was amazing. Drove back to PEI after the show...got home around 1:30 then up for work at 5, ugh!

The Moncton show was great. I hadn't seen the Hip live in about 8 years, and it was good to see them again. I enjoyed the setlist, although I had seen nearly every tune before live. It was well played though, and as people have said the sound in the room was amazing. I wasn't expecting much because it was a weird shape and layout for a concert, but from our spot immediately in front of the soundboard the acoustics were outstanding. A nice surprise.

Gord didn't talk much to the crowd directly, but he was certainly his usual self, running around and acting crazy with lots of vocal fills. I was impressed by how tight they sounded, and as mentioned the setlist was built for most of the big hits, which was fine. After about 15 shows over the years, it was nice to see some new stuff, but also good to hear a few older gems too!

I didn't see anyone openly taping, but I am hoping someone managed to record somehow. There were big screens on either side of the stage and multiple cameras in the house both at the soundboard and up front by the stage filming and displaying the action. It would be great to get a DVD of just this show, and I would be happy with just the audio!

I was at the show, and found the guys to be playing very well.
I noticed immediately however, that the show lacked the real "punch" to get the crowd going. At some points, I wasnt even sure Gord Sinclair's bass was on! People noticed that the crowd was dull, not the Hip's fault, that was the sound guy's fault. Bass is what really thumps people when they lay it on, and it was lacking very much on Tuesday night. Other than that, and the few light glitches during the show, the Hip was spectacular, i just hope that the Casino can add a few sub amps under the stage or something to really make the place shake when they need to.

It was a great show at a great venue. The sound was impeccable. Yeah....so what...it was a greatest hits setlist. That's fine. It's just nice to see them again. It is also nice to see them in a venue with 2400 people and not be jam-packed. Much better than an arena show IMHO. I hope they plan on making Casino NB a regular stop on their tours. As far as the crowd....Moncton is famous for lame crowds. I tried my best to do my part :). Highlight was definitely the NOIS/Nautical combo. I have come to loathe hearing NOIS, but that combo really breathed life back into it.

On another note....according to my friend who is on the ground crew at the Moncton Airport, here is what the boys are flying around in. Not too shabby. http://www.foxharbr.com/jetport/fleet/challenger
