Yep. I'll post more when my phone isn't about to die. It was a blast. The guys brought their a game.

Best fake out of the night: Gord started tuning up for Boots or Hearts, but...alas. Maybe next time? Great set list, great energy.

Full review later.

Thanks for posting the set list. Can't wait for the 930 show in DC. Last time they were there set list was about 25 songs, fantastic show. Opened with New Orleans and just took off from there.
Hope you like the HOF.

I've been far and wide to see these guys, and too many times to count; I wanna say I've seen them at least 12 times in Cleveland alone. And it seems that some of the best setlists and some of the rarest gems I ever hear happen here. They must like this town, for whatever reason (and there are quite a few things to like, I must say).

Last night's set was yet another treat. They just never disappoint in C-town. I have lots and lots of memories of this band in this town, and last night, the combination of special music, special people, and this special place was overwhelming. Quite an emotional experience.

Here's wishing that this mix keeps on rolling!
I'm almost worried too as this happened in 2009. However, based on this setlist alone, I may take a week off and follow the Hip on their entire West Coast run.
2009 had the most diversity we have seen since 2000. Here's a link to the stats http://hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php? ... statistics

If I remember wasn't there around 5-6 different "staticish" sets , ie Massey hall...that would repeat with a couple song changes? Still, we are all spoiled after that tour :P
Don't get me wrong, I remember the tour being amazing, but it was especially so at the start. The first few shows (Danforth / Kitchener) had some of the best setlists, but by the time they got to the west coast there were copycat setlists (Seattle > Victoria were identical back to back sets) without nearly as many rarities.

Very exciting setlist, especially after two predictable summer tours. When was the last time the Hip played a show without both Blow & NOIS in the lineup?
