Anyone going to this show? I have tickets for this show and was wondering if anyone has been to this venue. I know it's general admission and was wondering how many people the place holds.

Hope to see you guys there!

See you there!

good news, the hip are back in town after 3 years--bad news, they are back at northern lights-UGH!!! after selling out the 900 seat EGG last time out why on earth would they back track and play in a small, smelly, strip mall bar? Gord has no room to move around-the sound stinks, getting a beer is near impossible etc etc. Last time --90 degrees, young hammered 'kids"all over the place, flags blocking any view you might have found, inaudible sound system--what makes a band choose a venue? cost? the boys seemed to have really enjoyed the egg and I HAD AN ACTUAL SEAT! !the class of the venue and maybe extra ticket cost kept the riff raff out and the lobby area was the best you will ever find at a venue. If i remember correctly a vermont radio station 102.7 might have been sponsoring the last clifton park show with $10 tickets,so the show was overrun with youngsters--hope that is not happening again.

$35 tickets for the show------highest i have ever seen for this venue--avg show cost $18 not complaining as it should keep the kids away--

confliciting capacity results--looks like 1000-1300, the place has supposedly been remodeled--new bathrooms, video screens etc--i have heard it all before------if there are 1300 people in this place--you do not want to be one of them

What time do they usually open the doors? It seems to be out in the middle of nowhere. I'm coming from Toronto so was wondering what time I should arrive at the venue.

Thanks<
John

Venue's website says - 8:00pm doors/9:00pm show.

What's cool to do in Clifton Park? I'm guessing nothing.

Seems not too much happening in Clifton Park. We likely won't be arriving until 6-7pm anyway so not much time to do anything anyway. Hopefully the bar is not full of idiots and kids!

Can't wait for the show with the setlists I've been seeing!

Wow, went to see the venue to make sure I know where I'm going and yes, its in a strip mall. Timing was good though - watched/heard three songs in the soundcheck. Won't spoil it - one of the three was something not played too too often.
