Looks like there are only single tickets left in the balcony, should be a pretty good atmosphere on a Saturday night. Show starts at 9 for this one?

I like that they skipped NOIS and Blow last night. Hopefully they get it out of the way in Minneapolis and then skip those again in Fargo. 13th show, still looking for my first An Inch An Hour, On The Verge, Eldorado and Lionized. I like that some of these might be in play.

It was always one of my dreams to see the hip in a small US venue. After Saturday , I can strike that one off the list! I was very impressed with the Fargo Theater - It has a unique charm to it.
There was lots of energy in the building, and it was majority Manitoban, instead of North Dakotan, as expected.
Overall it was a fantastic show, as I had a smile on my face all night long, while I belted out lyrics.
Highlights for me included: El Dorado, The Lookahead, ATHM (the ending was wicked!), Wheat Kings (Paul's Singing).
My only criticisms: Setlist was very "greatest hits" heavy compared to the other stops on this tour IMO. It is too bad, as I was hoping for more deep tracks. Setlist was actually quite similar to the Winnipeg show at Shaw Park - so I am HOPING that the boys mix it up for the MTS center show in January....
Another complaint was that on the floor, people were always trying to creep up down the side aisles to get a closer view. The security made a bit of a weak effort to send people back to their seats, but eventually gave up. It just feels annoying when someone in Row J can get closer than myself in Row D.
That being said - I was wearing my Hipbase.com Beekeeper shirt, and had lots of positive feedback from other fans in attendance on it. Saw a few Basers there in attendance!

I agree with what was said that the set was sort of similar to Shaw Park last year (and very similar to Minneapolis the night before). Some of that might have to do with having never played North Dakota before and maybe the band was a bit tired having played three of four nights (the show seemed a bit rushed). I was lucky enough to have front row seats right on the aisle between Gord and Paul. The last number of years I've found myself watching the band a lot more than Gord but last night I really watched him. He certainly put a lot of heart into the performance. I really wish the band had played smaller venues again in Canada (especially since ticket sales aren't exactly hot for the Winnipeg show) but I hope there's another round of US shows in the spring or summer to catch them in this setting.
