I don't think I met any basers, I met one dood the next morning who asked us if we went, he was in the Luxor elevators 7th floor with his girlfriend, I had my new hip hoodie on with white shades , they were at the Washington show as well, nice guy, funny he said this is the largest crowd he's ever seen for them and I was this was my smallest Canadian and States crowds we thought, forgot to ask him if he was a baser.
AH that was you, you are definitely not what I imagined you to be no offence,I pictured you older for some reason I think I averaged 4 hours of sleep a day/night over 4 days,,,Oh Christ my bodies still aching but what a blast it was, I think I did ok for a 39 and holding year old!NegPhil wrote:Summiteer wrote:As everyone said, the show was fantastic, venue , sound, crowd, wow! I suppose I should of said "largest non-festival show in the U.S.".
That was me bro! Hope you had fun in California.

Uh, yeah, that's not me singing or anything in any of the videos I posted. Actually, this concert is the reason why I still have no voice. I seriously think I strained a vocal cord. Well, the non-stop talking/laughing and lack of sleep could also be a factor.fingernailsonhull wrote:Love the video for WWTBI. Love to hear the crowd singing along to new ones.
I noticed Gord mentioned it being cold a lot too. Couldn't figure out why - it was fine on the floor.[/quote]thompson girl wrote:
Hey anybody who is interested my cousin has finished the piece he did at this show. It will air at 7:40 tomorrow morning on CBC Saskatchewan 540 am radio. He says he will post it on the website after. Can't wait to hear it. I can't really remember much of what I said.thebends wrote:Marvelous show, great crowd, great venue and an amazing performance by the boys and crew. Too funny seeing so many hockey jerseys walking around the casino, I think the locals where wondering wtf??? There was a CBC crew dong interviews with people in line waiting to get in so I would expect they will be airing something in the near future. I'm not a big fan of In View but last night they absolutely rocked it! Fiddler's was incredibly moving in light of recent events, not sure but I believe Gord wiped tears at the end of the song. The crowd was awesome and totally into the show beginning to end. Great to meet negphil! Will post more pics later.
Oh, please post the link if you can. I saw him as he was going down the line but didn't get a chance to grab his attention.Douglas wrote:Hey anybody who is interested my cousin has finished the piece he did at this show. Lol buddies ripped me pretty good for that today. It's true though. I could pick up Seattle radio from my farm near Swift on good nights. Glad you enjoyed it.thebends wrote:Awesome "... the tractor had the best stereo on the farm ..."
