Time is getting close for the Kingston show! Can't wait. Last time I saw The Hip in Kingston they did both Pigeon Camera and 38 Years Old! Hoping for something special this time around as well!

Made the sort of last minute decision to head down to Kingston for this one. Saw the show in Syracuse, really considered this one, decided to try and be fiscally responsible but then decided "screw it". Plus, really like the Arkells.
To make it a bit special, bring my 9-year-old son for his first Hip show. I was 15 when I bought Up to Here...funny to now be bringing my own kid to a show. About my 30th show, his first, should be fun.
I bought a pair of tickets in section 113, beside the stage -- figure from there he should be able to see good. If anyone happens to have a pair of tickets in rows 1 or 2 of front floor they want to sell, drop me a PM or an email to
[email protected].

Heading down from ottawa on the off-chance they play something I've never seen before. Come on...inevitability of death! You know you want to...

Section 113 looks excellent especially with a 9 year old. His sight lines will be much better than the floor, even if you are in the first 10 rows.

Just heard "Escape is at Hand for the Travellin' Man" over the phone

...and now a random "Man Machine Poem" text. We have access to the worst setlist relay in history, folks!
...and now a "Gift Shop" call. So, "Escape," "Man Machine Poem," "Gift Shop," and who knows what the heck else.

Sarah Harmer onstage for "The Lookahead."
"Long Time Running"
"Streets Ahead". This has turned into a live phone-in from Kingston.
"Poets"
"Ahead By A Century". Phone's starting to break up; I've got the call running through my stereo speakers.
"We Want To Be It". My friend's battery won't last the show; we're blaming our other friend who's there and hoping to steal his work phone.
"Courage"
"Bobcaygeon" (gay cop intro)

I'm going to assume this show began with At Trans, Grace
Then you've managed to latch onto a co-conspirator on the inside that has so far relayed to you: Escape, MMP, Gift, Lookahead (w/Sarah), LTR.... ???
This is good stuff...
If the band itself ever starts live-tweeting this stuff it's gonna take all the fun and hi-jinks out of this sort of thing...
Keep up the good work!

It's my friend's tenth show and he's in the front row--and apparently, he's just letting it run. I'll keep tweeting you the updates.
This is obviously way more fun than anything official from the band.

Cool, I assume/hope she will stick around for Plan A in the encore.

So the set, from what we've gathered:
?
Escape
?
Man Machine Poem
?
Gift Shop
The Lookahead (with Sarah Harmer)
Long Time Running
Streets Ahead
Poets
Ahead By A Century
We Want To Be It
Courage
Bobcaygeon
Nautical Disaster (which sounds fantastic over the phone)
My Music At Work
Blow at High Dough
ENCORE BREAK
At the Hundredth Meridian...and this is where our feed came to die, right during "If I die of vanity." Still, over an hour from my boys in the front row at KROCK!
The ? could be one, two, or ten songs. But probably closer to one or two.
