Was waiting for someone to call me on it. I left during Bobcaygeon. Sorry, thought I'd have some fun. Couldn't resist.

Damn that would have been cool.

The only time I've seen Highway Girl live in 27 shows was my 2nd time in '91.

Sadly, it was just Blow at High Dough to close, not Highway Girl.

Great great show. The boys were all over the stage tonight, and they all seemed to be having a blast. Thugs was awesome to get. Gord seemed to do a lot more talking today. He mentioned the waterfront and the importance of it twice - during Escape and again at the very end of the night. I know that Lake Ontario Waterkeeper were going to be there tonight and they are currently working on a case involving the Oshawa waterfront. I always wonder how many people actually hear the messages though and consider them.

Another solid night - I am totally redacting my comments from the setlist thread! I don't care how many times I hear a song or see them play. Every show is different, every show is great in its own way, and no matter what, I am always smiling through the whole darn show for one reason or another! :thumb:

Always a good show from the 2nd row!
THUGS is uploaded now to Youtube and is worth the watch below. It was a stand out for me along with Man Machine, which didn't grab me too much before but Gord sold that song with strong vocals and closed me with some hand gestures. Photos to follow.

What an awesome show, brought my wife along and stayed the night. We met up with Wes,his wife, another couple and Thompson Girl for some pre-show drinks. As mentioned the big drafts for $11 went down real well :thumb: I didnt videotape last night so I could take in row 2 and all its glory. We were seated between Paul and Gord D close enough that we could practically high 5 the boys.Had friends from Hamilton on our left and The Completist on my right and we all rocked out the entire show, the atmosphere at GM Centre was great,I didnt notice anyone sitting.Aside from the obvious THUGS being a highlight,Streets Ahead has really stood out these last few shows.Johnny kicks the shit out of his kit on this song.Kids Dont Get It,and Family Band were amazing,I have a soft spot for WC as it was the album that got me back into the Hip.Major props to Trevor for setting up my camera in Guelph.I think I got a few good shots. It was great seeing everyone this week,Im tired and need a nap,see you all in TDOT :thumb:
