Bah, I just bought two off the hub unfortunately for double the cost (I know, I know). My sister is in town this week from Calgary, few weeks ago she said she "didn't like the Hip", yesterday she says it sounds like it'll be fun, & wouldn't mind going... she's the worst person alive.

One more sleep! I can't wait. I keep gazing up at my Hip jersey hanging on the wall, as if it's some holy garment, and I'll be wearing it all day tomorrow.

This is not a eulogy, it's a celebration, of a band that I've adored for almost 30 years. They got me into Canadian literature (Hugh MacLennan, Al Purdy), Raymond Carver, inspired me to learn guitar, start writing... so many great things.

So yeah, if you see a guy with the Bruins colours jersey, a beard, glasses, and a huge shit-eating grin tomorrow, come say hi.
