Grrrr.

Don't quite feel as much animosity towards the "constant fist pumpers and drink raisers" - but I do have different plans for them.
For the record the fist pumper in the hat is the one providing your ability to share your disdain for fist pumpers.
Sort of a paradox, huh
Maybe if this had been more clear and less "clever".

Sorry - brain is slow, low blood sugar here maybe, I'm out west, haven't had dinner yet.

Maybe I was just into the lobby quicker than previous nights (much, much better seats for Night 3), but I was stunned by the number of people hugging and crying as we walked out. It was a sight to see.

I'm holding out until the end of the tour to try to find the words. Or maybe until Hamilton, then let Kingston live on its own.

That said, these shows this week have been something else. There may not be too much more to say than that.

Just got home from Toronto #3...what a terrific show! Wasn't expecting the Now for Plan A tunes, but loved them. Escape was a real treat, and Daredevil!!!

Just a terrific show. I've stopped trying to figure out which show was better than which...they've all just rock.

4 down, 1 to go....

Was sitting around at home tonight and once the kids were in bed I had an urgent desire to see my third show in Toronto this week. With the bosses approval, I left and hopped on the GO train and made it to the ACC for 8:15pm and tried to negotiate with the scalpers prowling outside the arena. Haven't dealt with scalpers in a while and never will again...total scum. Even after the show had started they were asking for insane prices. Went inside to see a line formed at the box office and 30 minutes later had a face-value ticket to watch the rest of the show from a private box that they had just opened up for sale. Not quite sure how that works, but I'm not complaining. Caught the show from "At Transformation" onwards while just overlooking the stage. It was amazing and even though I missed half the show, I felt like I triumped over those bastards outside and caught a unique view of the boys in action.

I usually bitch about shows at the ACC but all three this week were incredible. Never seen the boys so emotional and close to one another on stage. The crowd - from diehards to newbies - were giving the band everything they had too. A week I'll never forget.

Enjoy the last few shows if you get a chance to be there!

What a show. Only one I caught from this tour, but what a treat! Escape, Daredevil, Long Time, Flamenco, Poets, Grace.... I have never heard the ACC louder for anything else. Saw those tears Gordie- I had them too!

Nice to meet Carebread and Chris Tanz at the end of the show!

Had to stop broadcasting because security got curious about my USB charger and cables coming out of my nap sac. Kinda killed the show for us but it was near the end and we had the opportunity to share with you. One more and we are out.

It is hard to compare Toronto3 to Toronto2. They were both basically perfect concerts and experiences. Song of the night for me was Long Time Running. Little Bones was a monster. Really the whole Road Apples set. Drip Drip Drip (I know, I know) was a great surprise since I was expecting WATS, and after they played a terrific Streets Ahead, I was expecting The Lookahead. Gord stepped on the "That Night in Toronto" line in BobC, which was too bad, but the crowd made up for it. Little bit of fun in Poets where the "bring out yer dead" line is usually sung; instead, Gord raised an eyebrow, smiled and mouthed "no".

I didn't see the setlist, so here it is:

1. Blow at Hight Dough
2. New Orleans is Sinking
3. Opiated
4. Boots or Hearts
5. Machine
6. What Blue
7. Ocean Next
8. In a World Possessed by the Human Mind
***
9. Streets Ahead
10. We Want to Be It
11. Man Machine Poem
12. At Transformation
13. Gift Shop
14. Flamenco
15. Springtime in Vienna
16. Ahead by a Century
***
17. The Last of the Unplucked Gems
18. Three Pistols
19. Twist My Arm
20. Long Time Running
21. Little Bones
***
22. Escape is at Hand for the Travellin' Man
23. Poets
24. Bobcaygeon
***
25. Daredevil
26. Grace Too
