the release date must be a typo. they might ship it early, but technically you aren't supposed to get it until the releae date.

I don't understand this whole "pre-order" deal. Why take the risk of it not coming in on time when the entire box set will be in store at a Future Shop and HMV, and probably for the same price, just no shipping costs.

Well probably it would be again very difficult to get it into Europe.
And as a matter of fact, I do have all the CD's so why buying the same stuff. Iám only interested in unkniown material such as the DVD. And specially the PAL version. Why is there not a DTS 5.1 example. Still the best sound I believe.

I live on the U.S./Canada border. I was thinking of just going into Canada to buy the box set at a store. Instead of waiting a extra week for it to be released in the states. Will i have to pay tax and duty when i bring it back into the states?

Tax = Yes. Duty = Yes; If you declare it... or get caught.

You can import gifts for relatives and friends in Canada duty free and tax free, as long as each gift is valued at CAN$60 or less. If the gift is worth more than CAN$60, you will have to pay duties and taxes on the excess amount. You cannot claim alcoholic beverages, tobacco products or advertising matter as gifts.

If you were making it an overnight trip, you could claim it within your limit.

Or you could by it.
Open it.
Put the CD in the CD player.
And when/if the border guard questions it - say:
"What you talkin' 'bout Willis"
"We're forced to bed, but we're free to dream"

Question:

Do the CD's and DVD's come in one Box-Set or are they sold seperately?

Thanks for clearing that up Chris. I've been across the border hundreds of times before but never really brought anything back. Besides a bad hangover. Thanks for the info :thumb: Also very funny Thip lol
