I was thinking that, or possible Pearl Jam - I think my head would explode if they did Rearviewmirror or something like that! :D

I'm looking forward to hearing about the Seattle gig with great interest.

Here is a link to The Max Hotel

Wow I am so so tempted. That hotel looks awesome. I work in downtown Seattle and I gotta work on Friday so this could be a really good idea!!!

Go for it Violetlite. If a bunch of us stay there we can turn The Hotel Max into The Hip Hotel!

So I actually made it in to work today 8) ............What an awesome show last night in Seattle!!!! WOW!!! My fourth Hip show and as always, absolutely brilliant. The highlight for me was "Bobcaygeon'. The second time I have seen that sung live and again had so much energy and feeling. Lots of our friends from north of the border present too (the guy in front of me was from Yukon!!!!), which is always great to see. Gord was up to his usual antics, using his cloth as his main prop, at one point pretending it was a tail!!! Great set list. The cover of 'Jumpin Jack Flash' was unexpected but fantastic!! Would have loved to see them play 'Fly' but hey, I guess you can't have it all!! Thanks boys!!! :thumb:

I noticed something yesterday, and I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned it. The first 7 songs of the setlist have been exactly the same over the last 4 shows:

View
New O
Drop Off
Good Life
Family Band
ABAC
Ocean

I really hope the boys don't continue this trend for the rest of the tour. That just seems so boring and scripted to me. Up until the L.A. show they were mixing it up pretty nicely, and I'm hoping they return to that when the tour resumes in Detroit.

I didn't notice that, but then I haven't been taking much notice of the set lists on this tour. That does seem unusual though for The Hip to stick to the same setlist doesn't it?? I don't recall seeing that on any of the tours of the last 3 or 4 years. It seemed way more varied and you never knew what they were going to pull out of the bag.

I really hope that's a trend that doesn't continue. Thats the beauty of seeing more than one show per tour right? Different songs, different show...etc
