I hope everyone got a copy of it last night as I seeded it for most of the night. A couple others did too but for the most part - I was disappointed by the amount of people that grabbed it and signed off. That's certainly makes the distribution a lot slower.
But otherwise....the show sounds fantastic. Great job Adam (I think that was his name). Burned it this morning and listened to it in the car ride in. The crispness of the sound is awesome. You can hear Gord's sigh's and breathing. The boys certainly were on point that night.
If you haven't yet, get a copy. You won't regret it!

i am on a mac and downloaded macflac 212 i think.
i dragged all the flac files into the window, and after the status bar showed all of them processing, i was only left with one aif file... is that because the download wasnt complete? i watched the bit torrent end, went to 0% left to download then i assumed i was done. do i have to wait to reseed before i can access the flacs? or something like this?
this is my first time wth both torrents and flacs.
thanks.

I have my distribution set for 30 minutes, i need to remember when I'm getting shows that I need to uncap that and make it unlimited. Sorry about that, im really bad at remember, cause most of the time i let it go while i sleep.
Thanks for the seed and I will start to seed as well, on the next show that I pick up. If i forget please hurt me, cause it will be deserved

I was able to get my copy and seed it for a few hours. This was my first experience trying bit torrents. Pretty cool stuff.

I need some help to make sure I'm sharing properly while using bit tornando. I'm downloading the show but I have a nasty red unhappy face next to my "Share Rating". How do I fix that? I want to share and not just 'take'.
Thanks.

When you're finished downloading, continue to seed the torrent by keeping the Bit Tornado window open. Eventually, the red frown will turn into a yellow or green smile. BT clients vary in terminolology and grahics but your rating is basically a ratio. You should alwas make sure you keep seeding until your ratio is at least 1:1, meaning that for every byte you've downloaded, someone else has upload it from you. I had some "due South" seeds that were at like 4:4 (I
love that show).
It's been a while since I used Tornado (I'm using Azureus now) so I'm not real sure when the icon begins to change, but it will change as long as you keep seeding the torrent.
I (and I'm sure others) appreciate your concern; many newbies in the BT world don't care about anything but getting their own. People like you make BTs worthwhile.
"Pride would never set foot in Paradise,
would it?
And beauty
will change the world, won't it?
And enthusiasm
does conquer all, Doesnt it?"

The smiley faces can also indicate your connection to the torrent/others. You may be behind a firewall, in which case (if the smileys in your software are connection status indicators) you'll never get a green smile.
Check the FAQ on the homepage of your software.
And as scottitude said, we appreciate the concern of a newbie.
BTW, Due South is probably my favourite TV show.

Aren't Bit Torrents awesome? I first discovered them a couple of months back - and I think my wife and my hard drive let out an exasperated groan at the exact same time.
