I don't know if anyone is in a position to do this, but I think I've lost my copy of the remastered Hengelo show that appeared a while back...would it be possible for someone to post the show on the archive? Many thanks if so...

Can't think of a better place for a first post than here, to say Thank You for the archive. Great stuff.
(Hoping to eventually get shows I've seen, 10/10/07 San Francisco, 1994 Portland and 1993 San Francisco, but loving what's here.)
Thanks again!

Thanks, that's quite a load of shows! I'm not sure I quite get the seeding/ratio thing, but I'm sure I'll learn.
One question/problem/favor: I've downloaded most of what's on the Live Music Archive, and all of it works fine except the 2007 Hipbase/Fans compilation, where everything appears to download but "Poets" is the only song that I can get to play, and after the intro, which is about Poets, the song is actually Fully Completely. Is that just me or is there something else going on with the other songs?
Thanks again for the amazing resource.

Something seems screwed with the Compilation. I'll re-upload it. Thanks for the heads-up.

That's because they're gone now. I removed them a while ago.

So if I wanted to expand my collection outside of a few bootlegs from some Buffalo shows, what Hip bootlegs what are the shows that a fan NEEDS to have?

Eat me Completely
Roxy and Elsewhere
Arizona's
Hengolo
I would start with that excellent 4-some.

Hello,
I just downloaded the Detroit Fillmore concert and had a problem decoding Disc 2 Track 3 FLAC (Ahead By A Century). Has anybody else had a problem or a solution. This is the error message: ERROR while decoding data state = FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_END_OF_STREAM
Thanks.

It looks like the upload to the archive was incomplete. I'm currently re-uploading the file. It should be around 33mb in size.

Great question. It's the same one that brought me to this fine online establishment a few years ago. And it was this thread that really jumpstarted my interest in Hip bootlegs:
