Thanks Billy!

If it weren't for all of the great fans who have helped out behind the scenes, contributed shows, or just expressed their gratitude it wouldn't be happening.

I had downloaded some shows in the past of the old ftp site and was bummed to find out that it wasn't operational over the last few weeks and only now, after stumbling on this thread here in the Forum, does it all make sense to me. Thanks Jerremy for having hosted an awesome site and allowing a newbie like me to experience more shows live and thanks to Chris for keeping it going. You guys provide a great service to all us hip fans out there!

Cheers,

Sean

This is new. Why delete them, Chris?

Where did you see that? I haven't set that up... so it must be something new in the software. I'll change that as soon as you tell me where you found it.

It says that in the FAQ under "Why did an active torrent suddenly disappear?"

OK. Thanks Sean. I'll fix that.

Mr. Tony, Can you also upload those three cover tracks the Hip played at the Holiday Jam at the Phoenix? Much appreciated!

The show at the Phoenix was not recorded/distributed at the request of The Hip/Eggplant Management so the only way that those tracks could in theory be accessed is if someone captured the stream from thehip.com... which MAv requested that we not do... so in my long winded way of saying things, "Please do not upload those tracks to the site."

Newman!!
Chris Chris or MAv. weren't supposed to see that message... It was actually kind of a joke, as Mav. has shot me down several times about that recording... It has been a while since the Holiday Jam, and so far no rumors about anything being released about that show. I'm wondering if MAv will lift the THM Blackout on that performance?

Glad to see you meant that in the lightest of veins Shane but I don't know of anybody that has said cover tracks - and they positively aren't a part of my boot collection.

Surely if The Boys want us to hear them, we eventually will.

As I also posted in Rory's UPLOAD thread:

I discovered that there is an issue with permissions on the site, and someone has deleted a bunch of the shows. As a result, the site is offline until I get the situation rectified.

Out of curiousity, when approximately should we expect the situation to be rectified?

That's a great question, and I'll work on an answer.
