Flac and Clifton Park

Ok, I did a search and I didn't find any threads that answered my questions.

I downloaded the flac plug in and installed it in the plug in folder in winamp, but it doesn't work!

Also, is someone taping Clifton Park? Jerremy? BTW, if someone is taping CP, you probably shouldn't stand next to me. I'm a screamer and I might talk. however, I find as I get older I can't scream like I once did and it takes way too much energy

I dont think I installed it in the plug in folder directly. I just downloaded the plug in, opened it when it was done and it knew where to go and what to do by itself!

Give that a shot. I'm certain that's how I did it.

:) I'd like to record the CP show - but after my one taping experience - Syracuse 2002 with my video camera - I discovered 2 things.

1. I'm not very good at taping (and I don't have the best equipment)
2. I didn't enjoy the show as much - I was too busy trying to steady the camera.

After trying it once - you really get an appreciation of what the tapers do to try to capture the show in the best possible way.

After Syracuse and DC - I can't wait to see the Hip a few minutes away from the 'ole homestead.

Can't wait.

See you there!

The thruway is about 15-30 mins from Clifton Park. I've got a a thread in Hip discussion getting everyone together and identifing everyone.

Just FYI it now works. I guess I had to restart my computer.

It was funny because I'm sitting here and all of a sudden something I had never heard before came on  It was like WTF?!

for those of you who have never taped a show and think it's easy.. it's not.. it actually REALLY sucks.. especially video taping.. I've taped about 7-8 shows and not only is it not fun for you, but for the people around you because if they're considerate they won't yell into the mics.. of course that never happens because you go to a concert to have some fun and do whatever you want..

taping just takes a lot out of the concert.

mind you do have something that lasts afterwards but either way..

I was just gonna be happy with audio :D

BTW, the video thing, I totally know what you mean, I used the video option on our digital camera this 4th of July to tape some fireworks and I totally felt like I wasn't in the moment, it sucked.

I'm pretty sure the show was in 2004....

I haven't seen it on any lists, and I'm always on the look out for shows I don't have. Try posting a request on the tracker, the Henhouse list, and the ol' standard amth.

Good luck!

Not to get hipbasers hopes up, but I saw both audio and video equipment at the clifton park show. The two indivudals that were also taped the rochester show. The video never surfaced from that show either, which is a shame because it was amazing show. I am hope that both shows surface at some point.

Hi all,

This was one of my fav Hip shows that I have been to. I hope a recording of it is out there. I'd love to be able to experience it again.

...One of the best versions of 'Courage' ever. GREAT show.
