Chris, thanks for your step by step instructions, but I use BitTorrent, and I see no way of actually creating a torrent. I have the directory all ready to go, and the .flac files created. I just don't know how to create a torrent to upload to the HipTracker... can anyone direct me to a program to do this?? I wanna start uploading my collection...

OK, folks... I think I did it. I downloaded MakeTorrent, and I think I've successfully uploaded the 12-07-2000 Montreal show to the HipTracker. Can someone confirm this?

Cheers!

Rory, I already have this show - so I will not be downloading it.
But, to help you out - I am trying to download it right now, and I am stuck at connecting to peers. It cannot find you for some reason.

WAIT!!!
Update - I waited almost 5 minutes for it to connect. Then I posted the message - 2 minutes after that it finally connected for me.
Literally took 7 minutes to find you - but now it seems to be working fine.

It's running smoothly... :thumb:

Took only a minute to connect to you

Thank you very much for this. I've been wanting to hear this live version of Montreal for quite some time. Is it better quality than the demo or 1991-08-03 version?

Cheers!

Rory we need you seeding until someone gets a full show. I will be able to seed all night but I got 0 UL & 0DL at 12%

Hey folks...

Sorry about that. The power went out briefly overnight and obviously with it went the computer. It's back up now, however, and will be all day. Cheers!

Hey Rory... Did you survive the storm without losing your power? Is life back to normal down there yet? I saw on the news that the power utility says that everyone has power again, but I guess there are still some issues.

It's been a week since the storm, we were without power for half a day, and it's been flashing off and on all week, no more than a few minutes at a time. But it's a bitch to set all the clocks over and over :)
