Heksenkettle DVD transfer??

Hello all,
Many moons ago I owned this wonderful Hip video (Heksenketle), but it was long since lost/stolen during my stay at one of our countries finest post-secondary institutions (UNB). I recently began a search to find another copy but I've come up empty handed... there aren't even any left at the maplemusic.com site!
So my question to you, fellow Hipsters, has anyone transfered this video to DVD? And if so, would anyone be willing to B&P or trade a copy.
I want it, I need... Gords rant during Pigeon Camera (at least I think it's during that tune) is priceless!
"Is everybody OK? Is anybody hurt? When that dude jumped in, did anyboby get hurt? ... He was my man. I should have stopped him..." etc
A great rant.
Can anybody help?

Truly some excellent live footage...I was at that show (ARA, Markham, 1993-07-24)...terrific performance
I've seen the VHS tape on eBay a few times over the past month...might want to try there

I got my sealed VHS copy on Ebay for $1.75 a few years back.
Just to save the VHS copy and alot of rewinding/fast-forwarding, I transferred it to DVD a couple months ago. It's burned at the highest quality (8 mbps), turning a standard 2-hr blank into a 1-hr blank. In order to get it within the 1-hr/4.7 GB maximum, I didn't include any menus and I had to cut the end credits where Neuf tells a story, but otherwise it's all there.

I raised the same question and because it is copywrited and sold for profit nobody will trade it. I look on ebay from time to time...I'd love a copy too.

If you don't mind the G&R this is a good buy, but only available for canadians. Anyone want to buy it for me?

If the video was available to the public for purchase from the artists then I could understand not making copies on DVD, but Heksenketle isn't available through Maple Music anymore, it's out of print ... and if it's traded freely in DVD format and not sold I don't see the problem there. If my logic is flawed I apologize... but that's how I tend to see things.
EXAMPLE: the Mad Season video "live at the Morre" is not available on DVD, and it's no longer being produced on VHS so it's not available in retail stores. The DVD transfer is now being traded freely amongst the PJ community and elsewhere.
It's being done for 2 reasons ... 1.) It's not available for purchse 2.) VHS media looses quality with every viewing, so a DVD transfer helps in maintaining the quality of the video recording over time.
Just my 2 cents.

This is a sticky issue....
PJ have an official policy that permits the free trade of commercial releases that are no longer available in stores. (There are some caveats, but I think that the Mad Season disc is covered by it.)
I've never read an official policy from The Hip, and I get the feeling that they just let it happen as long as everyone plays fair.
But I agree with Doc; I've never even seen Heksenkettle, and I have no way of acquiring it, even though I'm willing to pay for it.

I'm not going to Toronto for a few weeks, but I sure can check back for it and see if I can grab a few copies if there are that many left.
We'll have a contest or something.
