Hipbase.com comes up with the webserver page.

When I am in the forums and I click the "forum" button near the top, I get the following message:

HTTP Error 404
404 Not Found

The Web server cannot find the file or script you asked for. Please check the URL to ensure that the path is correct.

Please contact the server's administrator if this problem persists.

www.hipbase.com doesn't work for me, I had to weasle my way through checking through some bookmarks I have through certain threads to access this site.

(and will the old posts ever be re-gained? It takes a long time to get post numbers up :( )

Same for me. And here is some pertinent copy from the mainpage:

Code: Select all

This page you see here is your temporary page, you can replace it when you upload your web site files. This page is called "index.html" you MUST replace this file with your "index.html" page or delete it if you use a different file name such as "index.htm" or "index.php". If you do not remove this file or overwrite it your website will never show up.
And Sean, post counts are meaningless... and it was only 2 weeks of data that are missing - how many posts did you lose?

the 'forum' link at the top of the page doesn't work because it points to forum.hipbase.com (the old forum address) and not hipbase.com/forum

Yeah, your right, they really don't matter. I was just thinking that seeing as I'm slighlty new in the grand scheme of things, I think I lost about 50 posts. It's no big deal, you're right Chris. I overreacted. Sorry

I am getting this same problem.

And on a side note:
Does this mean we all get a refund from Hipbase Inc. for the past two days?

With the new host comes more space, I have updated everyone's attachment limits from 512k to 2mb. The is a 4x increase. Also you can post files upto 1mb in size, from the 512k before.
