Hey everyone...
I'll be using this thread to announce which shows I'll be uploading to the ftp each day. Use this thread to make show requests, as well, and I'll see if they are in my collection.
Yesterday, I uploaded 7/30/97 Darien Lake. Today, it's 10/01/96 Lancaster, PA
Enjoy!

I'm not sure if you have this, but I've always wanted to hear Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto, Ontario (Queen's Jubilee) October 11th, 2002. I think it would be an interesting listen.

Rory, are these shows already in MP3 format, or are you compressing them for the FTP site? The 7/30/97 show is one that I'd like to add to my collection, but I'd rather have a lossless version if it's available.
I know that in the other thread you said that you weren't really up to speed on creating torrents and such. If that's really a problem for you, maybe Chris would make an exception, and allow you to upload a lossless copy of your daily show to the FTP, and leave it up for say 24 hours or something. I'd be happy to download them, and then share them on the tracker to save bandwidth on the FTP site.
I know that's kind of an ass backwards way of doing things, but I'd like to see these shows get out there in the best quality possible. I have a feeling that you're likely to upload some more shows that neither I, or a lot of other traders, have gotten their hands on before!
I also realize that there may be logistical problems for either you or Chris, due to allowable bandwidth or the like, but it's just suggestion. If there is anything that I can do to help, let me know. If either of you have a better or more logical solution, I'd love to hear it! Thanks,
James

Consider a permanent exception made to Rory for these shows...

Hey guys and gals...
I have no problem uploading the shows in wav format. Consider it done.

Rory... Can you please convert them to SHN or FLAC before uploading? Save space, bandwidth, time and ensures that the files are complete.
As I type, I'm figuring that you'd do this any way...

Hey Chris...
Yes, they will always be converted to FLAC. Another question: should I upload them in MP3 format still??

p.s. The Queen's Jubilee performance from 10/11/2002 has been uploaded, but unfortunately, I no longer have 4/26/93 in my collection. Sorry, Summiteer!

Trevor and I will try our best to get any of the FLAC shows that Rory uploads seeded to the tracker right away. To save space, I'll be deleting the lossless shows he uploads once they are torrented.
