I anticipated a rather "standardized" setlist, being a Thursday night in the middle of Indiana; unsurprisingly, they did 8 cuts of the new record.
Great venue; reminded me of the many many shows I saw here in the midwest in the earlier days. Small floor area, seating along the sides and balcony rails, big rectangular bar in the center of the venue.
I was a little disappointed by only 19 songs, but again, I understand -- Indianapolis on a Thursday. They were tight, as usual, and everything sounded fantastic. This band's experience shines through onstage....
Was great to hear Last Night I Dreamed.....now I think I've heard everything off WC in only 3 shows -- another positive to seeing this band live.
I was thinking that there was a great chance they'd whip up something from the Indiana-native John Mellancamp for the cover; and after the first song of the encore, Gord went through his spiel on playing a cover every night and "moving on".....and then said "this is a ditty I think you all know...from John...", and I though for sure my prophecy had been confirmed....but the he added "and Paul, and George, and Ringo" and into Helter Skelter the went. By the way, that cover was frickin awesome. Did a great job capturing the frenetics of that legedary shredder.
Next up: Cleveland -- Round 2

Well unless the members of the Crue are named John, Paul, George and Ringo, then it wasn't their version being covered Crowd was larger that I expected it would be.
