I also went to both shows. Kudos to the chap standing second row with me for the Saturday show that bought me a beer because I held his spot for him.

Funny story: got lost finding the Fillmore on the second night. Ending up running a red light while trying to figure things out and got a big ticket for it :( Detroit Cops are none too friendly. It kind of ruined the start to the night, but the show and all the nice folks I met made up for it!

With the new little one and all, travel for us is pretty restricted. Not to mention it's hard to find a babysitter for the night in another city. :) We drove to Indy on the WC tour. Looks like St. Louis is our only hope this time around. The Pageant is a killer venue. I recommend it to those considering making the trip (that is, assuming the aforementioned St. Louis date comes to pass).
