Take a walk down South Salina Street in downtown Syracuse and a new date listed on the Landmark Theatre marquee jumps out at you.
Canadian rock favorites The Tragically Hip will play the restored movie palace on Nov. 16.
That date is confirmed, says Liz Carioti, but ticket prices and onsale date are not yet available.
The Hip, as they're called by fans on both sides of the border, have made it a habit to play the Landmark Theatre every couple of years. Lead singer Gordon Downie and mates also were part of Woodstock '99 in Rome, N.Y.

Sorry....I've been living under a rock.....is there an opening band? I have a 3 hour drive and can't leave until 4ish. Band comes on at 9:00pm?
