As a manager at one of the busiest restaurants in Halifax, I have access to countless cases of Labatt Blue, and have therefore come across many of those free CD's. I have an extra Hip CD, free to the first person that e-mails me at wpghipfan@hotmail.com with the answer to this question:

What was the date (month, day, year) of the famous Fort Henry show that the Hip performed in Kingston, for charity?

Hey folks...

I have another one... any takers? First one to PM me with the answer to this trivia question gets it with a SASE:

I remembered this from the Hip FAQ that was compiled a while back...that's where my answer came from.

"3-19. What is the meaning of "Toronto 4"?

From the Music @ Work song of the same name, Toronto 4 refers to the way postal codes were written at one time in Canada.

> I was helping renovate our basement, and I looked inside the poney box
> of the electrical system, and the address for General Electric,
> back in 1966, had Toronto 4 as its third line. Turns out that
> Toronto 4 was the post office, and it stood where the ACC stands
> now. I work with a guy who used to drive the forklifts at Toronto
> 4 back when he was my age. When I found out the meaning of the
> title, I didn't hate it as much as I did when I first heard it. -- Ren Bostelaar"

I submitted that to Rory last night but it was obviously not what he was looking for.

Hey folks... the original question was, WHO was the song written about.... not WHAT... in other words, WHO is the rockplug for all of us? Sorry for the confusion... if I come across another Labatt CD, I'll make the question clearer...
